A CRB check is a process where applicants are checked for any criminal records. The checking process is conducted by the Criminal Records Bureau, and a disclosure statement is supplied. The Criminal Records Bureau is an Executive Agency of the Home Office and it provides access to criminal record information from the Police National Computer.
